This film isn’t so brilliant cos it’s a satire on modeling, it’s cos it’s such a great satire of just film tropes
And also because of the ridiculous amounts of super quotable lines (like one every two minutes), from the famous ones (what is this, a centre for ANTS? and everything about the mermaids) to the little gems that you don’t laugh at as much the first time but gets funnier each new time you watch it (you’re more dead to me… than your dead mother to most of milla jovovich’s lines)
And also how extremely seriously everyone takes themselves
And just the sheer absurdity of everything about it from the premise to the details
